I always have known most of those things, but the stress keeps me from realizing how to apply them. Listening to your perspective in 7 minutes has given me more understanding how to apply those stress relievers than 7 years of listening to others tell me how I should handle it and not knowing what to do. I seem to always give people the wrong impression. I have struggled with this for years..since grade school. So as an adult I now just try to avoid people and that now gives them the further impression that I am self~centered. I find myself apologizing and trying to figure out how to fix it with the other individuals then I hate them afterwards.

Theirs always other options besides self injury. Because you might feel better but your not relieving your stress. Because your still stressing your body out.

my only stress reliever has been self injury. it is the only time i feel any sense of control at all.
